CATCH Marketing was founded by James Pleasance in 2018 after more than 20 years marketing and PR experience in the marine industry.  Previously involved in the Superyacht industry with Boat International Media, James has managed and activated campaigns for brands including Rolex, Swedish Match, BMW, UBS, Garrard, Albert Riele, Alpari FX, Champgane Mumm, Elvström Sails. 

In 2008, he founded the yacht industry's first business conference, the World Yacht Racing Forum, attracting over 400 industry delegates.  James was appointed CEO of the World Match Racing Tour in 2012 and managed its sale to Swedish company Aston Harald in 2015.
